Noah Pike Hamrick was born November 7th and I was so excited to meet this little boy so I went up to the hospital on the day after to meet him and to see Ali, who did wonderful through the labor and delivery!
He seems to be a pretty good baby (easy going, sleeping well, eating and growing quickly) and is so stinking cute. It's been fun to hold a baby again. I hold him and think that there was no way Charlie was that little. It's funny how quickly you forget. I was pretty proud this weekend as I held him, he just nuzzled right in my arms and went fast asleep. I told Ali that I had the magic touch. :-) I know that some of you are thinking, when are they having their next and this is what I have to say about that, I love Noah and I'm so happy for Mark, Ali and Wyatt but you know what's really nice? I get my baby fix and then I go home and sleep all night. :-)
He seems to be a great baby so far! Wyatt has been transitioning; he is so proud and loves his baby brother! It's really sweet!
Charlie on the other hand will talk about baby Noah but he really doesn't want anything to do with him when we've been around. He's typically too busy playing with Wyatt.
I have a few pictures to put on the blog to finish off our busy but very fun month. Last weekend, we went to Barnes and Noble for a very special Halloween story time. We met Wyatt and Ali and had a fun morning. We played and then went trick or treating through the store.
Afterwards, we had a nice lunch out!
On Sunday, we had a nice family day. First, we stopped by a nursery for some fun Fall activities.
Then we went to Papa and Grammie's house for a delicious dinner and great company.
Charlie started off this morning with a big surprise. We had a visit from The Great Pumpkin overnight. We came downstairs and there was a bag with several books and a puzzle in it.
Charlie had a great day at school. He got to have a costume parade and trick-or-treat at school. They ended the morning doing the Chicken Dance and Move It Move It. Then after nap, they got to have a party.
In the evening, we went over to the McGreevy's to trick-or-treat. Lyndsay and I were a little worried we had too high of expectations for these kiddos but we did not. They did excellent and were so cute. Hailee was Little Bo Peep and her costume was awesome!
Here's a video of them actually going to a door to get candy.
Charlieosaurus wants to wish all a very Happy Halloween!
We went to Charlie's fall festival at his school. We've been every year and it's fun to see all the cute children in their costumes. Charlie was excited when I told him we were going back to school for a party.
Here are just a few cute pictures from the "party":
We've been busy, busy, busy. Last weekend, we went to Hailee's birthday party at the pumpkin patch. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the birthday girl.
I was busy running after these two boys. Wyatt spent the day with us and then came over for a sleepover. They were very well behaved and Charlie's already talking about when Wyatt can come back!
This weekend, we also celebrated Wyatt's birthday on Saturday morning. We got to have donuts which are Wyatt's favorite.
Ali and I laughed that Wyatt and Charlie spent the last part of the party with the girls having tea. :-) Then we went to Touch a Truck. Charlie had a blast.
I must say, this is a must for next year. It was fun but a little too hot. Who knew we would have 90 degree days in October. Yuck!
Saturday night, we went back over to Wyatt's house to hang out with family and enjoy some yummy pizza and cake. Moma Toni and Papa B got Charlie and Wyatt a Toy Story shirt. So cute!
Of course, they were being really serious while we were trying to take pictures. Charlie came home and was talking all about Papa Boni. ;-) Then, Sunday we celebrated Charlie's friend, Will's birthday. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures. After the party, we had an awesome dinner at Kneeknee's house.
